**We unfortunately can not send out a thank you for
donations under $100 so we can save that money for
the animals under our care. We will always
send notification when you make a donation 'in honor
of', 'in memory of', for birthday/memorial/wedding
gifts no matter what the amount you donate.****
BUDDY- This
poor 10 year old boy was dropped off at an animal
control facility in southern Illinois and set to be euthanized. We stepped
in and rescued him. When he arrived at our
shelter we realized his jaw was broken, he was
severely dehydrated and had not eaten in a week.
He still wagged his tail, gave us kisses and wanted
to be held. Our local veterinarian said Buddy
needed to get to an oral surgeon immediately.
The jaw has been broken for quite a while now, he is
in excruciating pain, needs all of his teeth pulled
and the jaw fixed. Even with Buddy being an
older boy with a lot of problems with his mouth, he
deserves better treatment in life than what he has
gotten. We could not give up on him like other
people in his life have. It is going to cost
$2,000 to get Buddy's mouth & jaw fixed and we
desperately need your help! If we can all pull
together for Buddy since so many other people have
let him down, we can finally help Buddy feel loved
for once in his life. You can click on any

credit card or you can mail a check to the shelter
address and specify that Buddy is who the donation
is for.
Animal House is non-profit, so we rely heavily on
private donations for our animals. We greatly
appreciate any donation no matter how big or small.

We accept all types of animal items, but we try to
keep our animals on the same types of food so they
don't get sick from switching. We will accept other
types as back up.

Memorial/Tribute

ANIMAL HOUSE SHELTER RECYCLES! PLEASE
DROP OFF ALUMINUM CANS TO HELP US RAISE FUNDS FOR
THE DOGS AND CATS! THERE IS A BIN IN OUR
LOBBY, YOU CAN STOP ON IN ANYTIME FROM 11AM-7PM AND
DROP THE CANS IN THE BIN! THANK YOU!!
Thank you to 9 year old twins Nicholas and
Jack Riley of Fox River Grove! They adopted
a kitty from us in December of 08. Instead
of presents for their birthday, they asked
family and friends to buy items that could
be donated to Animal House Shelter. Thank
you so much guys!
Eddie and Animal House Shelter would like to
thank Angelo Torres Salon. They collected
over 380lbs of dog and cat food though their
donation drive! They also donated $150.00 to
us. Thank you so much!
A huge thank you to Mr. A's of Crystal Lake. They
donated over 200 individually wrapped gift packages
one for every single dog in our shelter! Thank you
so much for helping all the homeless animals in our
care this season!
