We adopted Taz from your shelter two years ago. I just wanted to send you this long overdue thank you because I can’t see my life without him now. He has truly become part of the family. My roommate’s American Bulldog, Sage, and Taz are in love. Everyone was so helpful and nice at the shelter. Our adoption counselor really helped me & my mom understand that Am Staffs and all Bully breeds are not bad dogs.

Back in October of 2003, we adopted Augie, then changed his name to Otis in honor of the shelter’s address. Since then we have received nothing but love from the little guy, and if he would just leave the toilet paper rolls alone everything would be perfect. He has been a wonderful addition to our family, and it is all thanks to Animal House Shelter. Here he is on my old bean bag chair, which Otis has claimed as his own.

Thank you for the opportunity to adopt our Sophie, formerly Fluff. She has been with us only five days now and has been making awesome progress. She was very hesitant and untrusting for the first 24 hours, but after she started to understand that we were there to care for her, she became a different little dog. She is finally playing with her toys, very cuddly, is housetrained and loves our other dog. She has truly been a wonderful addition to our family. We feel blessed to have found her. A big thanks should be given to you guys and your staff for doing such good work! Our baby has found her forever home now.

Dear Animal House Shelter, We are so pleased with our adopted dog from your facility. Our family adopted Margie, a very loving, friendly and happy dog. Tootsie (formerly Reagan) adopted from your facility in May 2004 has brought us nothing but joy and friendship. She is the most obedient, loveable dog that we have ever had and we just live for her companionship. Thanks a million for this “ten pound jewel” you gave us.

We adopted Jessie back in April of 2002 and she has been such a wonderful addition to our family. She loves people and always greets them with her tail wagging patiently waiting for them to notice her. Mario is one and a half years and Jessie and him are best buddies. Jessie checks on him every night and is the first one at his door in the morning. So much has happened since she has come into our family and we couldn’t imagine our lives without her. Thank you for all you are doing for so many dogs!
