Build some muscle, learn new techniques and have fun at this fun clinic hosted by Huntley Barbell! Classes are donation based and all proceeds will go to Animal House Shelter.

Clinic 1: Turkish Get-Up and Kettlebell Swings
(Hosted Wednesday August 1 @6:30pm and Saturday August 11 @9am)
(90 minutes each)

Turkish Get-Up – The Turkish Get-Up (TGU) may best be described as weighted yoga. The TGU builds strong, healthy shoulders, as well as amazing hip and thoracic spine mobility. Anyone looking for healthy, strong joints would do themselves a great service to learn the TGU.

Kettlebell Swings – The Kettlebell Swing (KBS) may be the most beneficial single exercise a person can learn. The KBS will build strong legs and abs, while improving your overall conditioning. If you want to burn fat and build muscle, the swing is the perfect tool for the job.

Clinic 2: Kettlebell Press and Goblet Squat
(Hosted Wednesday August 15 @6:30pm and Saturday August 25 @9am)
(90 minutes each)

Press – While the bench press is often the go-to upper body lift, the standing press is the true king of upper body strength exercises. The press will allow you to build a strong upper body with a powerful, toned midsection.

Goblet Squat – The goblet squat is an incredible lower body strength and mobility exercise. If you want strong legs and mobile hips, the goblet squat is a must for you.
