I am good with other dogs love people! I also like kitties! I am happy to walk around in a fenced yard and I also love to cuddle on the couch. Like to go in car rides, will hop right in myself. I will climb in your lap and I’m very gentle. I love people and like to be with you but I am ok on my own and I do just fine in a noisy household as well!

Note from Kulu’s foster mom: Kulu is extremely sweet. She loves to be petted and will put her paws up and stand against you to get hugs and scratches. She gets along fine with the other 5 dogs, 2 medium dogs and 3 big dogs. We have not heard her bark yet, so she seems to be quiet and content. She is not food aggressive in any way and waits patiently for her bowl. She doesn’t like being picked up very much and i scoop her up instead. She eats twice a day, mostly canned food sprinkled with some dry. She likes soft treats. She sleeps a lot because of her age and sleeps through the night. We have a fence and she goes to the door when she wants to go out. She likes to lay in the little bit of sun that comes in with the winter weather. She is definitely a sweetheart and we are happy to have her as a foster with our family.

All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Tri Heart Plus; Vectra 3D.

Our website is always kept 100% up to date with who is currently available. All new animals (40/week) are added to the site 2 weeks before their availability date to give you time to fill out your adoption application and get the family ready to come out to the shelter that day. As soon as animals are adopted, they are moved to the Adopted Pets page so if they are still listed on the Adoptable Dogs or Cats page, they are still available. So keep any eye on the site for any animals being added as available for adoption as new animals are added everyday! We would recommend if you haven’t done so already that you submit a general online adoption application with us so it is on file for when you are ready to come out and adopt. The adoption counselors will be able to show you many that would be a good fit for your family. We do go in order of when you submitted your application with us. So it is always best that you get your general application for any animal in with us as soon as possible.
