Find A Pet
Please let us introduce you to Nebula!!! She has come a long way from when she first arrived in our home as a foster. She started off timid, scared, protective of her belongings and she had a habit of hiding everything in her bed and burying it. She came to AHS from a shelter in Texas so we are not sure of her history. She has at times been unsure about her footing as some puppies are when growing into their body but she has gotten much better and gained strength and weight. (We are not sure how much exercise she got before she came to AHS so not sure how comfortable she was on her legs before) With patience, reassurance and a little time her sweet, cuddly, playful, trusting personality came out. She LOVES her belly rubbed!!!! Nebula is affection and treat motivated. She gives kisses galore and we haven’t experienced much nipping with her but a high yelp when she does mouth does do the trick to get her attention and to stop. She is very curious and enjoys exploring her environment and playing with a variety of different toys and textures. She also enjoyed taking naps either on the couch or in her bed with multiple blankets. She was great with our 12 year old daughter; no issues or problems at all. She enjoyed conversing with our 12 year old rat terrier as well. She is bouncy and wiggly and fun fun fun; her wagging tail moves her entire body. She does bark a little when playing and at some other dogs in the neighborhood which we were working on her with. We also just started to get her use to being on a leash for walks. She is a little timid at first but in our opinion, Nebula will make a loyal, loving companion for life so will give her family unconditional love, smiles, laughs and more love.
