Note from Polli’s foster parents: “Hello,
Thank you for letting us foster Polli!!! She is an amazing little puppy! I wanted to share the pictures I took of her while at home. She was a little scared at first, but after a day/two she was already playful and wanted to step away from the cage. We started introducing the house to her one room at the time and always after a walk outside. She will be easy to train, with some time. She was sleeping thru the night in her cage, but we brought the cage in our room, so she is not alone. Walking is fun for her, and she just needs training in how to walk properly. She eats well too. Loves threats and to chew on hard toys. She will be a great dog a a friend to someone who is willing to give her all the love. She was great with our son too. He is 2. Even though she was great, he was a little scary and loud for her. She loves to play with sticks and balls and run 🙂 I really hope she finds a great family soon.”
I was found by animal control as a stray and they transferred me to the shelter to be adopted.
All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Tri Heart Plus; Vectra 3D.
All family members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of the adoption.
Please fill out an online application and we will give you a call as soon as we receive it. Visit our ‘Adopt’ page to view adoption process steps, policies, requirements and FAQ. View our ‘Visit’ page for hours and directions to our shelter. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Our website is always kept 100% up to date with who is currently available. All new animals (40/week) are added to the site 2 weeks before their availability date to give you time to fill out your adoption application and get the family ready to come out to the shelter that day. As soon as animals are adopted, they are moved to the Adopted Pets page so if they are still listed on the Adoptable Dogs or Cats page, they are still available. So keep any eye on the site for any animals being added as available for adoption as new animals are added everyday! We would recommend if you haven’t done so already that you submit a general online adoption application with us so it is on file for when you are ready to come out and adopt. The adoption counselors will be able to show you many that would be a good fit for your family.
