Temperament: Meet Sprinkles — He is a handsome brown tabby with warm amber eyes, Sprinkles is as beautiful on the outside as he is loving on the inside. He’s a gentle, affectionate kitten with a big personality and an even bigger capacity for love. Sprinkles does have a rare congenital heart defect that will eventually lead to congestive heart failure. His prognosis is poor, with an estimated life expectancy of months to about a year. Because of this condition, he cannot be neutered and is considered a hospice foster. Despite his diagnosis, Sprinkles lives every day with joy, curiosity, and tenderness. He’s not looking for forever — he’s looking for now: a compassionate home willing to cherish him, keep him comfortable, and make his remaining time full of love, warmth, and peace. If you have room in your heart for a special little soul, Sprinkles would be grateful for every moment by your side.

Sprinkles is a sweet, loving kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart—literally! He has a congenital heart condition and is seeking a foster home while we work with a cardiologist. He’s playful, gentle, and ready to brighten your days.

All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.

An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.
