Welcome to the Children’s Education Center at Animal House Shelter
For the past year, our dedicated Education Center has been inspiring kids and families to build compassionate relationships with animals. This welcoming space was created to bring learning to life—helping young people understand animal care, welfare, and the lifelong responsibility of pet ownership.
Through hands-on programs, interactive workshops, and engaging activities, children have the opportunity to connect with animals while learning about adoption, kindness, and advocacy. Whether it’s a school field trip, scout visit, birthday celebration, or community group event, every experience is designed to be fun, meaningful, and memorable.
We’re proud to be a place where curiosity grows into compassion—and where the next generation of animal advocates begins.

Minimum Donation for Events
On-Site: $250 for up to 2 hours and up to 15 children
Additional $10 per child for groups over 15
Reservation & Payment Policy
A full donation is required at the time of booking to reserve your event date.
All donations are non-refundable.
If your event needs to be canceled, your donation may be applied toward a rescheduled date.

Groups
Boy/Girl Scouts, School Groups
Do you have Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts working towards earning their next badge? Planning a field trip to our shelter? Or looking to do a fun craft project with a group of kids?
Our Children’s Education Center is the perfect place for groups to gather and learn. Whether it’s for educational purposes or just a fun get-together, our facility is ready to host your group.

Minimum Donation for Events:
Groups: $150 for 1 hour with up to 15 children. Additional $10 per child for groups larger than 15.
