Lucky Dog 5K is all about Running (or Walking) and supporting amazing animal shelters! 

Join us on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at 8:30am CST for an exciting “Lucky Dog Themed” event that features the scenic views of Busse Woods in Schaumburg, IL!
This race is a sure thing for a great doggy good time!  This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing.  Results will be posted at www.J3Timing.com.

5k Registration Includes:

  • Short Sleeve T-Shirt (Upgrade to Long Sleeve T-Shirt)

Can I Run with My Pet(s)?  Absolutely!  We are running to support pets, pet lovers, and animal charities!  So you can run or walk with or without your pet(s)!  Please note that your registration includes (1) dog medal.  If you are bringing more than one dog with you to run/walk and would like an additional medal, please purchase one while registering.

Is registration required for dogs?  No.  Dogs are welcome to participate in the 5k and are not required to sign up.

This race benefits Animal House Shelter, a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill shelter for all breeds of dogs and cats.  Thank you for your support of this event!

SHAMROCK BEER RUN

The Epic Shamrock Beer Run 5k is back for another year of beer drinking!  Like Running or Walking?  Love awesome craft beer?  This event is for you!
Enjoy a pint of your favorite beer after your 5K!!!  Better yet, enjoy a pint before the 5K… Cheers to Drinking Beer!!!
5k Registration includes:
  • *New Short Sleeve (Shamrock Shifting) Tech Shirt

  • 5 – 3oz Samples of Different Beers Along the 5K Course

To assist with easier parking, start times are available from 1-2pm (choose your start time during registration)
Don’t want to do the 5K?  Register for the BrewFest!  It’s only $15 plus includes and all the benefits to the entertainment and fun without having to walk or run 3 miles to get to where everyone wants to be anyway…. The post race BrewFest party!
This is a 21+ event only.  No strollers, no kids, no one under 21 admitted.
