Temperament: Bear is a very special pup with an extra-unique look — his adorable crossed eyes give him a one-of-a-kind charm! He currently has limited vision due to congenital esotropia (crossed eyes) and early-stage cataracts in both eyes, but this doesn’t stop him from being a happy, playful puppy. At this time, no surgery is needed — he’s just living his best puppy life! In the future, a veterinarian may recommend surgery to improve his vision, and if that time comes, it would be something his forever family could choose to do at their own expense. For now, Bear is simply looking for someone who will love him exactly as he is and give him all the cuddles he deserves.

All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption.

All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown.
