Freckles

Breed: Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) / Border Collie
Age: 1 year
Weight: 48 pounds
Gender: Female
Temperament: Freckles is a sweet, gentle girl who just needs a little time for her true personality to shine. She can be shy when meeting new people, but once she realizes she’s safe, she’ll melt into your lap and shower you with snuggles and affection. She absolutely loves other dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend to help show her the ropes, though her biggest wish is simply a patient family who will let her settle in at her own pace. Watching Freckles gain confidence and blossom is incredibly rewarding. Freckles’ story hasn’t always been an easy one. She came to us after the farmer who owned her wanted to have her put to sleep, through no fault of her own. Thankfully, she got a second chance, and now she’s ready to discover what it’s like to be truly loved and cherished. This special girl has so much love to give. All she needs is someone willing to give her a little patience and a lot of kindness. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, affectionate companion who will be forever grateful for her happily ever after.
