Temperament: Meet Sushi! This beautiful Bombay/Domestic Shorthair was found as a stray and is now ready to find a loving forever home. Despite her rough start, Sushi has proven to be an absolute sweetheart. She enjoys being around people and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. Sushi has a playful side too and especially loves batting around string toys. When playtime is over, she’s more than happy to settle in for some pets and attention. With her affectionate personality and curious nature, Sushi is sure to make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.

All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.

An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.
